\"\"<\/a>I love this poem, so had to bring it out again for the anniversary of Roe v. Wade. I think it sums up what I feel about repro rights and apathy for activism about reproductive rights\/justice\/health that I see out there. \nand I didn\u2019t speak out because I wasn\u2019t a communist.<\/p>\n

Then they came for the\u00a0trade unionists,
\nand I didn\u2019t speak out because I wasn\u2019t a trade unionist.<\/p>\n

Then they came for the\u00a0Jews,
\nand I didn\u2019t speak out because I wasn\u2019t a Jew.<\/p>\n

Then they came for me
\nand there was no one left to speak out for me. \u00a0 \u00a0\u2014Pastor Martin Niemoller<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The anti-women, anti-birth control, anti-freedom-of-religion people have taken over government at the National and State levels.<\/p>\n

First they went after abortion coverage.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Then they decided \u00a0to redefine rape.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Then they are NOT allowing abortions in the case which the women would DIE without the abortion.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Then they voted on to defund birth control\/pap smears\/STD testing for financially-strapped women.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now they have declared open season on killing abortion providers.<\/strong><\/p>\n

What\u2019s next? Anyone who speaks up about abortion will be shot?<\/strong><\/p>\n

When will pro-choice (NOT the same as pro-abortion) Americans wake up, stand up and be counted?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Did you know that US the House of Representatives:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Passed the\u00a0“Let Women Die Bill”<\/a>\u00a0251:170 HR358. 250 members of Congress thought it OK to let a woman die in the ER rather than perform an abortion!<\/li>\n
  2. Tried to redefine rape<\/a>\u00a0as NOT rape if a woman was drunk, drugged or underage,\u00a0http:\/\/bit.ly\/gd4QEn<\/a><\/li>\n
  3. Passed a law that would basically result in no private insurance coverage of abortion even if women paid for the insurance with their own funds (currently 85% of private\u00a0insurance covers abortion),\u00a0Stupak Amendment to HR3<\/a><\/li>\n
  4. Passed a law to\u00a0ban teaching hospitals from teaching abortion<\/a>,<\/li>\n
  5. Passed a law to take away birth control from poor women<\/a>\u00a0(Title X funding) which would result in more unwanted pregnancies and abortions<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    And US Senators are lying about Planned Parenthood on the floor of Congress<\/a>!<\/p>\n

    TRUTH: only 3% of what Planned Parenthood does is abortions. The other 97% is STD diagnosis and treatment, pregnancy care, cancer screenings, etc.<\/p>\n

    And they are so emboldened that a South Dakota bill would legalize killing doctors who perform abortions!<\/a>!<\/strong><\/p>\n

    And Nebraska has decided to do the same but worse<\/a>!<\/strong><\/p>\n

    And Iowa too<\/a>!<\/strong><\/p>\n
